23 August 2018 (09:53)
UrBC, Chelyabinsk, August 23, 2018. Officers from Troitsk Customs Point, Chelyabinsk Region, handed over 188.2 kg of beef tongues (Duty Number: 0206210000) imported from Denmark to Rosselkhoznadzor authorities, the latter’s press service reports.
The shipment containing foods whose import to Russia is prohibited was going from Zatobolsk, Kostanay Region, Kazakhstan, to APK NaturProdukt in Magnitogorsk, Chelyabinsk Region.
It was determined that the waybill information did not quite match the data stated on the veterinary certificate: while APK NaturProdukt was stated as the consignee, the shipment actually belonged to a woman named D. Even though all the boxed had proper makings, the manufacturing dates were all wrong.
The truck loaded with beef tongues got delivered onto an isolated warehouse on August 18 and burned in full compliance with the legal requirements on August 20.
