Western Siberia: Power Grids Get Ready for Fall/Winter

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 14, 2018. Power engineers working at Federal Grid Company United Energy Systems’ Western Siberia division are already getting ready for the fall and winter, the company press service reports.
‘We do everything necessary to prepare for every next heating season on a regular basis. Checks, repair and maintenance, and equipment replacement occur throughout the entire year. Most of the jobs get done in the warmer seasons,’ the press service says.
The company intends to direct more than RUR 1.7bn to repairs and upgrades this year.
