Sverdlovsk Region Pays RUR 114bn to National Budget

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, May 14, 2018. RUR 114.3bn worth of taxes got transferred from Sverdlovsk Region to Russia’s consolidated budget in January-April 2018; this exceeded the figures for one year earlier by 9.4%, Russia’s Federal Tax Service’s Sverdlovsk Region division reports.
RUR 37.7bn got directed to the federal budget (up 8.2%, or RUR 2.3bn, on a year earlier). Most of the payments (79.5%) stemmed from VAT payments charged on goods and services produced or rendered within the Russian Federation.
The VAT payments amounted to RUR 30bn all in all, which was 4.3%, or RUR 1.2bn, more than in January-April 2017.
The corporation tax payments amounted to RUR 4.2bn, which was 16.2%, or RUR 0.6bn, more than in January-April 2017.
