Yekaterinburg: Number of Beauty Parlors for Sale Up 1.5 Times
24 April 2018 (14:58)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 24, 2018. The number of operating beauty parlors for sale in Yekaterinburg went up by 46% between September and March, that is, from 24 up to 35 businesses, N1.RU’s press service reports.
‘The increase in the number of beauty parlors on offer might have to do with seasonal factors, since it is generally believed people tend to pay more attention to their looks in the summertime. So the sellers are taking up on this in order to make a sale,’ says head of N1.RU Oksana Sidletskaya.
According to this web portal’s analysts, the number of catering businesses and shops for sale also rose by 20%, up to 40 and 70 outlets, respectively. On the other hand, the number of offers available on hotels and hostels, service stations, and saunas dropped by about 40% in each category: there are currently 23 hotels, 14 garages, and 8 saunas for sale in Yekaterinburg.
According to N1.RU, the asking price of beauty parlors went down most noticeably, as well as that of hotels. The average asking prices come to RUR 6.5m (down 20% on six months earlier) and RUR 30.7m (down 16.5% on September 2017), respectively.
The asking price for other business categories actually went up.
