‘There were no INES scale-rated nuclear or radiation events, incidents, or emergencies at the plant last year that could have affected the population, the plant’s staff, or the environment in any way,’ the plant’s Deputy Technical Director for Nuclear, Radiation and Industrial Safety & Job Safety Evgeny Skorynin says.

Ural Electrochemical Combine reports ensuring and improving nuclear and radiation safety is their top priority. Audits prove that the plant’s nuclear and radiation safety parameters generally comply with the existing nuclear energy sector’s norms and regulations.
