South Urals CCI Holds Talks with Heilongjiang Representatives

UrBC, Chelyabinsk, November 1, 2017. The management of the South Urals Chamber of Commerce & Industry recently negotiated with representatives of the Chinese province Heilongjiang’s international trade committee , the CCI’s press service reports.
‘The talks covered discussions on a number of joint projects to improve Chelyabinsk Oblast and China’s economic ties. This is all part of a cooperation agreement Ural Federal District’s CCI Association signed with China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) during the China-Russia EXPO this June,’ the press service says.
It was agreed that the two parties’ cooperation should begin with a visit of Heilongjiang representatives to Chelyabinsk Oblast. On behalf of their respective organizations, the South Urals CCI President and Secretary-General of Heilongjiang International Trade Committee discussed the time, date, and format of the event.
The Chinese delegates are expected to arrive in Chelyabinsk Oblast in March 2018. The parties agreed to leave plenty of time to get prepared for a productive meeting. The preparation time will be used to do a needs analysis of both Russian and Chinese businesses in view of their bilateral cooperation and to decide on the specific people who will contribute to the meeting and help strengthen the two territories’ business ties.
