UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 7, 2017. Ural Airlines proved this year’s Safety Leaders Award winner in Aviation Safety, the air carrier’s press service reports.

The awarding ceremony took place on Skolkovo Moscow School of Management campus on September 5. The award was given out at the end of Safety Leaders Forum coordinated by Social Projects Foundation. The trophy figurine was presented to a Ural Airlines representative in acknowledgement of the company’s safety efforts.

‘Making sure our flights are safe is the company’s top priority. We have a multi-layered control system to ensure reliable flight preparations and a trouble-free flight. Our technicians, skilled pilots, well-trained flight attendants all contribute to this, as does our own aviation tech center responsible for all sorts of ground maintenance,’ the press service says.

Safety Leaders Award was founded last year to promote safety-enhancing practices in various sectors of human and public activity.
