Russian Copper Company Hosts Workout Championship

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 8, 2017. Ural Federal District’s workout championship was recently held on Russian Copper Company’s workout park site, the company press service reports.

The sports event gathered together some fifty athletes from Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Kurgan, and Tyumen Regions and from Bashkortostan. Both professional sportsmen and women and amateur contestants competed in both grownups’ and children’s categories.

The championship included Power Freestyle and Power Triathlon challenges. World workout champion of 2013 Ruslan Minachev from Chelyabinsk won the first prize in Power Freestyle; the second prize went to Nikita Vyatkin from Nizhniy Tagil, Sverdlovsk Region; Sergey Zhilin from Korkino, Chelyabinsk Region, won bronze.

Nail Nuraiyev from Kurgan Region came first in Junior Power Triathlon, Andrei Cherepanov from Sverdlovsk Region came second, and Eduard Merziyapov from Kurgan Region got the third prize. Eduard Galyamov from Miass, Chelyabinsk Region won gold in Amateur Power Triathlon, while Ivan Lymar from Yekaterinburg and Andrei Katayev from Miass got silver and bronze. Ural Federal District Power Triathlon champion for 2013 Ivan Myshkin from Yekaterinburg, Timur Titovitch from Miass, and Yegor Fomintsev from Verkhnyaya Pyshma, Sverdlovsk Region won the first, second, and third prize in Professional Power Triathlon.
