UrBC, Yekaterinburg, May 16, 2017. Uraltrac-Dnipro, the official dealer of Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation’s Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant (ChTZ), presented the plant’s tractor T-100M3 made in 1980 at the Old Car Land 2017 International Festival in Kiev, the company press service reports.

Some 900 exhibits were featured at the event, including passenger vehicles, trucks, special-purpose vehicles, and a unique collection of Harley Davidson motorcycles. In addition, there was a range of LAZ and Ikarus buses displayed in chronological order, the first Soviet post-war ‘limo' ZIS 110, and the unique war front truck GAZ-MM with a tarpaulin roof and side doors (one had to save on metal during the war).

Both visitors to the exhibition and the judges’ panel were impressed with the T-100M3 tractor. The caterpillar-track vehicle won the Festival’s Best Tractor and the Festival’s Oldest Tractor awards.

‘ChTZ used to make such vehicles in 1963-1983 and kept upgrading the make. T-100M3 was the most advanced version we had and a transition between the older modifications and the new T-130,’ the plant’s press service says.
