UrBC, Yekaterinburg, May 12, 2017. Forty-five different military vehicles and weapon types produced at Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation’s three plants were featured in the Victory Day Parade in Moscow’s Red Square on May 9, the company press service reports.
The company’s head plant Ural Vagon Zavod presented twenty-three promising armored vehicles, including the latest-generation T14 Armata tanks, the upgraded T 72B3 ones, and the armored evacuation vehicles BREM 1.
‘This is the first time our upgraded T 72B3 tanks have taken part in a parade. Thanks to a new, more powerful engine, the tanks are now much more mobile, while the up-to-date module protection units make them virtually unassailable. The tanks have proven their outstanding combat and operation characteristics during a whole range of field training sessions,’ the press service says.
Yekaterinburg-based Uraltransmash, Russia’s artillery industry market leader, presented its self-propelled guns 2S35 Koalitsiya-SV and 2S19M2 Msta-S, their serially produced self-propelled howitzers.
