Ural Real Estate Chamber: Existing Home Prices Down 14.7%

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 7, 2017. The average asking price came to 67,272 RUR on Yekaterinburg existing home market on April 3, 2017, Ural Real Estate Chamber’s analytical report states.
The figure decreased by 0.4% in the last four weeks and by 2.9% compared with one year earlier.
Homes in relatively recent buildings grew 13.7% cheaper, those in buildings dating back to the fifties and the eighties grew 17% and 17.2% cheaper, respectively. Apartments with the so-called improved layout grew 14.7% less expensive, with the average asking price at 63,723 RUR per m2.
In the last four weeks, prices declined most noticeably for the apartments in Stalin-era buildings. The figures went down by 0.9% and currently come to 57,390 RUR per m2. Homes in buildings put up in the Brezhnev era can be had for 58,591 RUR per m2 on average.
