Ural Airlines Wins Russian Wings 2016 Prize

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, March 29, 2017. Ural Airlines won two awards in the 20th Russian Wings Contest on March 27; firstly, the airline won in the Domestic Flights category, Group 1 (air carriers with turnover over 3m passengers a year), the airline’s press service reports.
Also, the air carrier was given a special ‘coordinators’ choice’ award as Russian Civil Aviation Project of the Two Decades. Ural Airlines’ Director-General Sergei Skuratov was personally acknowledged as a major contributor to the development of Russia’s air travel.
The company was nominated for two more prizes as well (E-Commerce and International Flights).
163 Russian and 17 foreign air carriers as well as 32 airports competed in this year’s contest. The event is coordinated by the Association of Air Transport Operators (AEVT), the Aviatransportnoye Obozreniye magazine, and Infomost.
