ChPTZ Group Wins In HR Brand 2016

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, March 6, 2017. ChTPZ Group won the independent national HR Brand 2016 Prize in a category called Region, where prizes are given out for a successful project implemented in one or several Russian cities other than Moscow or Saint Petersburg, the company press service reports.

The Group’s Power of White Metallurgy talent pool program was evaluated very highly by the contest judges’ panel and expert board.

‘The Group has been implementing the project at its pipe-manufacturing plants since 2015. The goal is to create a pool of employees who share the company values and will be ready to step in the available managerial positions at all levels in order to help the company achieve its strategic goals. The Power of White Metallurgy has embraced 426 managers, ranging from team foremen to directors so far, which comes to 31% of the company’s managerial staff. 63% of new managerial vacancies at the Group’s Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant and Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant have been filled by the program alumni so far,’ the press service says.

The talent pool development program takes one to two years to complete, depending on the specific position. 10% of the program’s time is dedicated to theory along four different modules: people management, White Metallurgy production system, business understanding, and production technology and quality management.
