UrBC, Yekaterinburg, Deccember 4, 2015. ChTPZ Group’s corporate training program the Future of White Metallurgy was awarded the first prize in the blue-collar jobs training contest by the Russian Education & Science Ministry and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. The prize was given to the company representatives at the 10th International Global Education 2015 Congress & Exhibition, the company press service reports.
‘We trained over 400 highly skilled workers, each of whom now has three to four kinds of qualifications, in the last four years. Most of the program alumni find jobs, including managerial positions, at the Group’s innovative White Metallurgy departments. They also win national and international professional skills contests,’ says the Group’s HR Director Svetlana Kuzminykh.
ChTPZ Group was one of Russia’s very first companies to launch PPP dual-education programs with a lot of on-site practice for students when the Future of White Metallurgy took off in 2011. Last year, thanks to the Group’s corporate training program, Sverdlovsk Region was granted the ‘mentor constituency’ status, which means advice can be given to other constituencies planning to train their blue-collar workers under dual-education programs.
