UrBC, Yekaterinburg, December 12, 2016. Designers from Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation’s Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant (ChTZ) created a special version of PK-70K.0001 loader on the basis of the plant’s largest serially produced loader by order of their customer ALROSA, the plant’s press service reports.

The vehicle got tested successfully at the plant’s testing range and is now being tried out in Yakutia, where the loader is used at a mine for loading rock and macadam. A new high-capacity scoop proved particularly handy for the larger imported dumpers with large-size bodies. Unlike its standard counterpart, this customized loader has two extra cylinder actuators, which means the loading can be carried out at a greater height (+1.5m). Also, the replaceable crane arm devices can get taken off/put on very quickly thanks to a special quick coupler appliance.

This high-scoop loader is 5,500kg strong and 6,500kg strong if you use a regular scoop. There is also a demountable snow plough imported from Italy that can get shaped in a wedge-like or rectangular fashion. It is also possible to place an ice-breaking milling cutter on the crane arm if necessary. The loader itself has a flexible crane arm that can be used for both lifting things and shoveling snow.
