Mikheyevsky Gets ISO, OHSAS Certified

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 26, 2016. The world’s leading independent auditor, the Swiss company SGS certified Mikheyevsky Ore Mining & Processing Enterprise’s quality management systems for compliance with international standards, Russian Copper Company’s press service reports.
‘SGS has worked with such international giants as Bayer, Boeing, and Siemens in the past, as well as with the Russian companies Gazprom and Lukoil. Russian Copper Company’s asset is now also among its clients. These certificates prove that Mikheyevsky is one of Russia’s most advanced ore mining and processing enterprises,’ the press service says.
SGS auditors looked into the company’s entire documentation and supervised the production process at every stage. Their inspection involved the enterprise’s largest flotation department, lab, and quarry. The auditors also checked the workers’ residential facilities as well as all other housing infrastructure, assessed personnel’s skills, and looked at the company’s environmental safety measures.
