MegaFon Offers Remote Services to Corporates

22 September 2016 (12:53)

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 22, 2016. The telecommunications provider MegaFon now gives its business customers an opportunity to use their services remotely, the company press service reports.

This was made possible after one’s electronic signature that is normally used for verifying and submitting applications to government bodies was declared valid for telecommunications transactions.

According to MegaFon, 70% to 90% of Russian companies use electronic signatures for their e-tax declarations and reports, so now the company offers them one more e-service.

‘This country’s business community is trying to save on time and money and is thus switching to e-document flow. Bearing this in mind, MegaFon came up with this new option. To subscribe to our mobile connection services, it is no longer necessary to come to our office with a pack of papers and wait to be attended to: this can now be done remotely, with the help of an electronic signature. Companies that sign a contract with us throughout September, October, and November will receive a 500-ruble bonus into every SIM-card account they sign up for,’ says MegaFon Ural Corporates Development Director Evgeny Ivanov.
