UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 7, 2016. Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation’s Burevestnik Central Scientific Research Institute set up and launched a new production facility, the corporation’s press service reports.

The solemn opening ceremony was attended by Governor of Nizhniy Novgorod Region Valeriy Shantsev, Director-General of Nizhniy Novgorod Union of Industrialists & Entrepreneurs Valeriy Tsybanev, Ural Vagon Zavod Deputy Director-General Alexei Zharich, and Ural Vagon Zavod Director for Strategic Development & Investment Dmitri Shkolny.

Additionally, the symbolic first stone was laid in the foundation of Burevestnik’s new assembly department in the course of the ceremony.

‘This newly opened production facility is expected to create 150 new jobs, while the upcoming assembly department that will be 25,000 m2 big will also create 625 more. The company both works on the existing produce upgrades and improvements in order to make it more competitive and designs absolutely new products. At the same time as building new facilities, we are also developing a range of new products that will be presented at the Army 2016 Exhibition,’ said company head Georgiy Zakamennykh.
