UrBC, Yekaterinburg, March 3, 2016. Burevestnik Central Scientific Research Institute (a member enterprise of Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation) hosted a meeting of quality control managers/members of the Nizhniy Novgorod Association of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the corporation’s press service reports.

The meeting was attended by top officials from Nizhniy Novgorod Ministry for Industry, Trade, & Entrepreneurial Activity, Nizhniy Novgorod Association of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Weights & Measures Academy, and quality control managers from other thirty local enterprises, including OKBM Afrikantov, PKO Tepoobmennik, FNPTs NIIRT, NAZ Sokol, NMZ, GAZ Group, and others.

Burevestnik Quality Control Manager Yuri Fateyev presented a report on solutions to quality problems with his company’s produce, and President of Nizhniy Novgorod Quality Problems Academy Valeriy Sholkin made a report on the new ISO standards in management systems.

According to the company press service, the meeting was a good way to talk about the latest requirements in the international standardization system and to develop general guidelines for Nizhniy Novgorod’s enterprises.
