EVRAZ Mines Have Safety Month
25 August 2016 (13:47)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 25, 2016. EVRAZ Holding’s Raspadskaya Coal Company coordinated a Safety & Increased Productivity Month last month, EVRAZ Holding Siberia’s press office reports.
The company’s mining teams engaged in this competition shortly before Miner’s Day. The main idea was to ensure emergency-free performance and reach personal target output figures.
Alexander Lyane’s team from Erunakovskaya 8 Mine proved the best among the stope staff: the miners produced 282,700,000 kg of coal last month (the target figure stood at 280,000,000 kg) without a single job safety problem. Labor productivity was thus estimated at 3,624,000 kg per stoping face worker, which is the best result the company has seen so far. Lyane’s team was also the first among Raspadskaya Coal Company’s stope staff to produce this year’s millionth ton of coal in May 2016.
Also, Sergei Sushkov’s team from Uskovskaya Mine proved the best among the company’s drift crew.
