UBRD Offers Card Courier Deliver
4 May 2016 (09:15)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, May 4, 2016. The Ural Bank for Reconstruction & Development is currently launching a pilot try-out of its debit card courier delivery service, the bank’s press service reports.
At the moment, the service is available in Yekaterinburg, Orenburg, and Sterlitamak.
‘This is a very simple thing to do. Once an order is placed, the customer can choose the convenient delivery date, time, and location, whereupon the card, the envelope with the PIN number, and all the papers get delivered in a special securely sealed package. Once the customer’s identity has been verified, the courier gets back to the office where the card gets activated by the clerk after all the papers have been checked,’ the press service says.
According to UBRD Promising Projects Director Anastasia Peregrimova, the courier delivery service means customers can save time for more important things, debit cards grow more easily available for customers in remote areas, and new markets can be entered at no additional expense. What is more, the bank’s front desk employees can now spend more time communicating with customers rather than going through papers.
