Sverdlovsk Region: People’s Paying Capacity down 7.3%

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, March 23, 2016. Sverdlovsk Region residents’ accumulated income amounted to 1,809.5 trillion RUR last year (up 8.4% on a year earlier), while their spending was estimated at 1.867.6 trillion RUR (up 11.4% on a year earlier), Sverdlovskstat reports.
Their paying capacity (calculated against the minimum shopping basket) dropped by 7.3%.
For example, Sverdlovsk Region resident’s average monthly pay could get you 121.7 kg of beef in 2014 against 109.4 kg in 2015, or 650.3 against 641.6 liters of milk, or 6,414 against 6,103 eggs, or 857.7 against 650.1 kg of sugar, respectively.
