KULZ renews Collective Agreement

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, December 23, 2015.Kamensk Uralsky Foundry Plant/KULZ adopted a new Collective Agreement between the company management and the workforce; the agreement had been drafted by the company trade union and is now expected to regulate the two parties’ relations in the next three years, the company press service reports.

The document was signed by KULZ Director-General Anatoly Barabanov and Chair of the Trade Union Committee Alexandra Vinogradova.

The agreement contains all the key principles and regulations from the earlier version, with changes in nine paragraphs which are meant to improve the workers’ conditions as well as to bring the contract in compliance with the recent legislative amendments. The pay terms and conditions such as payment deadlines, delay compensations, pay rise regulations, and premiums for double workloads have been set out more clearly. Also, workers are now entitled to bigger maternity leave compensations and greater amounts of birthday and reward premiums.

Besides, six more paragraphs were added to the agreement, all of them in the workers’ interests. These are clauses related to extra paid days off, pay rises, idle time compensations, long-service rewards, and paid-for trips to health resorts.
