UrBC, Yekaterinburg, December 11, 2015. Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant (a member enterprise of Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation) signed a dealership agreement with Peru-based Vostok-Sur Export-Import. The company will be in charge of supplying tractors to Peru, the corporation’s press service reports.

The contract was signed in Peru. Under the agreement, the dealer will now promote Chelyabinsk vehicles on the Peruvian market and provide after-sale services.

Bulldozers and tractors will be shipped to South Africa in sea containers, which will cut delivery costs and guarantee the tractors arrive safe and sound. Once the machines are at the port, the dealer’s representatives will assemble them, do the pre-delivery checks, and hand them over to customer. This scheme has already proven successful with company dealers in Vietnam, India, and Indonesia.

The dealer also signed a contract with the Peruvian division of Repsol, the lubricating agent maker. The company is Peru’s largest gasoline, oil, and lubricant supplier, with filling stations all over the country.

Under this agreement, Repsol will act as a subdealer and will support Vostok-Sur Export-Import in promoting Chelyabinsk tractors in exchange for expanding sales markets: the tractors imported to Peru will be filled with Repsol stuffs only. Repsol will also be responsible for regularly changing oil in the vehicles.
