UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 24, 2015. Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant (a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Corporation) is about to ship a set of five B14 bulldozers to Vietnam.

According to Uralvagonzavod Corporation's press service, the machines have already been assembled, commissioned, and accepted by the customer, whose dealer and representative came to the plant specially for the purpose.

The plant's Foreign Sales Director Vladimir Klein says the acceptance tests went through smoothly, so the tractors are now being partially disassembled and packed into shipping containers.

'The bulldozers will be sent to Saint Petersburg by rail, from then to Hamburg by sea, and from then to Haiphong in Vietnam also by sea. What seems like a detour in the Indian Ocean is actually the most reliable and the least expensive route. This is exactly how we ship our vehicles to Vietnam,' he says.

Once in Hai Phong Port, the bulldozers will be assembled and handed over to the end customer by the dealer. The Vietnamese military, for whom the bulldozers are meant, have been using the plant's tractors since the sixties and still intend to keep buying them. They have already purchased a set of B12 bulldozers which proved very efficient on local rocky ground.
