Omsktransmash employees get Defense Ministry awards

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 30, 2015. Three employees of Omsktransmash (a member enterprise of Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation) were given the Russian Federation Defense Ministry’s higher-order awards, the company press service reports.
The awards were given to Valeriy Voloshin, Sergei Chukhin, and Anatoly Permyakov for their great professional skills, many years of conscientious labor, and impressive personal contribution to developments in the Russian Armed Forces’ defense capacity.
Head of the Special Electric Equipment Systems Department Valeriy Voloshin was awarded ‘For Labor Valor’ Medal in recognition of the forty years he spent designing documentation for various kinds of vehicles and of his eight inventor’s patents.
Head of the Electric & Radio Equipment Department Sergei Chukhin was awarded the ‘For Strengthening Military Cooperation’ Medal, which is given to members of the military and civilians employed at the Armed Forces as well as to other Russian and foreign subjects for their contribution to strengthening military cooperation with Russia’s partner states.
Deputy Head of Assembly Department Anatoly Permyakov was awarded the Mikhail Kalashnikov Medal; Permyakov is currently in direct charge of making sure the defense procurement requirements are met and tanks T72 and T80 get regularly repaired and upgraded.
