The price of a standard double hotel room in Russia came to 4,830 RUR per night on average this November; this is 8% cheaper than in October 2015 and 1% cheaper than in November 2014. In Yekaterinburg, however, this month’s price is actually 7% higher than one month ago and now comes to 4,140 RUR per night, trivago.ru reports.

According to the current trivago hotel price index (tHPI), hotel prices went up the most in Kazan and Suzdal, that is, by 11% compared with October 2015; the current price of a night’s stay in a standard double room now comes to 3,933 RUR and 3,450 RUR, respectively. Prices also increased quite noticeably in Irkutsk (+9%, 4,002 RUR), Yekaterinburg (+7%, 4,140 RUR), Nizhniy Novgorod (+4%, 3,036 RUR), and Voronezh (+4%, 3,243 RUR).

Hotel prices remained the same as last month in Krasnoyarsk and Volgograd (3,381 RUR and 2,691 RUR, respectively).

In Moscow, prices went down by 12%, down to 5,865 RUR per night; this is also 5% less than in November 2014.

Hotel stays also grew cheaper in Sochi and Saint Petersburg. The price of a night’s stay in a standard double room in a Sochi hotel comes to 3,795 RUR on average.
