No more New Year trips to France
18 November 2015 (09:43)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 18, 2015. Yekaterinburg customers decided against booking New Year trips to France this week, so the travel agents’ sales are almost zero, Zima-Leto Group reports.
Tour operators believe that sales have stopped because of a series of terrorist attacks in Paris on November 13, 2015.
‘Agents will hardly be able to sell any trips to France for a while, the demand is only likely to recover next year, when the panic effect becomes less pronounced. Provided, of course, nothing of the sort ever happens in Paris again,’ says the Group’s director Olga Gulyar.
This particular decrease in sales hasn’t affected the overall market situation, however, since the Czech Republic still proves the most popular winter destination for local tourists.
