Yekaterinburg housing prices drop 6%

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 9, 2015. The average price of a square meter of housing on Yekaterinburg existing homes market has declined by 6% since the start of the year, Ural Real Estate Chamber reports.
As of November 2, 2015, the average asking price came to 71,682 RUR per m2.
Prices dropped most in the city‘s least expensive outskirts: down 1.9% in the last four weeks, 52,815 RUR per m2 on average. Also, centrally located apartments grew 1.4% less expensive, 98,008 RUR per m2 on average. As for the city‘s second and third most expensive locations, prices went down by 0.7%, down to 76,175 RUR and 65,884 RUR per m2, respectively.
These are the one-bedroom apartments whose price decreased the most lately (-1.1%, 70,161 RUR per m2). Two-bedroom places grew 0.8% less expensive, 69,701 RUR per m2 on average. Studio apartments grew only slightly less expensive (-0.5%, 77,835 RUR per m2 on average). The only market segment to get more expensive was that of three-plus bedroom apartments (+0.4%, 74,158 RUR per m2) on average.
