Yekaterinburg; Price of Centrally Located Homes Down 0.7%

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 8, 2019. As of November 4, 2019, the average asking price on Yekaterinburg existing home market came to RUB 72,519 per m2, down 0.4% on four weeks earlier.
According to Ural Real Estate Chamber’s Analytical Department, the number of homes currently for sale rose by 0.1%, or 9,010 units, in the course of one month. The number of rooms in communal apartments on offer dropped by 0.7% in the last four weeks, down to 1,360 units, and the number of homes in the suburbs also declined by 4.9%, down to 685 apartments. It takes about four months on average to sell a place.
Most existing homes have grown less expensive in the last month. The price of centrally located apartments went down by 0.7%, down to RUB 101,398 per m2. Homes in the city’s second priciest areas next to the central locations can be had for RUB 77,376 per m2. Apartments in the third and fifth most expensive parts of Yekaterinburg grew 0.5% and 0.2% less expensive, respectively (RUB 66,465 per m2 and RUB 50,808 per m2). Prices in the city’s fourth most expensive locations stayed the same (RUB 59,391 per m2).
The price of studio apartments and one-bedroom ones in Yekaterinburg dropped by 0.1%, down to RUB 77,646 and RUB 70,896 per m2, respectively. Two-bedroom apartments have grown 0.3% less expensive, down to RUB 71,077 per m2 on average. Three-bedroom homes now cost 1.1% less, with the asking price at RUB 75,053 per m2.
