New homes grow 2.3% cheaper in Sverdlovsk Region

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, October 13, 2015. The cost of new homes in Sverdlovsk Region went down by 2.3% in the third quarter of the year compared with the second quarter; existing home prices went down by 4.9%, Sverdlovskstat reports.

Apartments in the medium price range grew 0.2% less expensive, while the price of better quality homes was down by 3.4% and that of premium class ones by 3.7%. The average price of a new home now comes to 59,775 RUR per m2.

As for the existing home market, all types of dwellings grew less expensive: those of lower quality by 12%, those of average quality by 6.8%, those of better quality by 3.4%, and those in the premium class segment by 2.1%. The average price of an existing home now comes to 60,364 RUR per m2.
