Sverdlovsk Region: over 136,000 jobless

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 25, 2015. The number of Sverdlovsk Region’s jobless came to 136,100 people in September 2015, Rosstat reports, while the number of working-age population stood at 2303,800 people.
In the whole of Russia, the number of people out of jobs rose by 326,000 people in the course of the year. The overall number of the unemployed is now 4.3 times bigger than the number of those who registered with the government employment centers (956,000 people as of late August 2015).
On average, a person out of job is 35.2 years old; 28.5% of them are in the under-25 age group (including 5.9% in the 15-19 age group and 22.6% in the 20-24 age group).
3.9% of the unemployed have been jobless for less than three months. 27% have been in search of a job for a year or longer.
