Sverdlovsk Region: Nearly 17,000 people sign no labor contracts

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 4, 2015. 16,956 people are found to be working in Sverdlovsk Region with no employment contracts, the Economics Ministry refers to Director of Sverdlovsk Region Labor & Employment Department Dmitri Antonov as reporting.
‘As of August 20, 2015, 16,956 people working in Sverdlovsk Region did not have any employment contracts; as a result of our inspections, these were signed with 14,137 workers, 14,092 of whom are currently still employed; this comes to 17% of our target figures,’ Antonov said at a government meeting on issues relating to pay and labor contracts.
The officials present at the meeting commented on the under-achievement in the field both in Sverdlovsk Region’s certain cities and in the constituency on the whole.
