Sverdlovsk Region’s tax authorities collect tax payments

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 17, 2015. Sverdlovsk Region directed 110bn RUR to the Russian Federation budgetary system in the first half of 2015, which was 15% (14.5bn RUR) more than a year earlier, Federal Tax Service refers to Deputy Head of the Service’s Sverdlovsk Region division Marina Ryabova as stating in her report.
36bn RUR went to the federal budget (up 26%, or 7.4bn RUR, on a year earlier).
Sverdlovsk Region’s consolidated budget received 74bn RUR (up 10.6%, or 7bn RUR, on a year earlier).
31bn RUR came from VAT payments, which exceeded the figures for a year earlier by 22.5%, or 7bn RUR and 22bn RUR came from corporate income tax, which exceeded the figures for a year earlier by 27%, or 4.7bn RUR.
According to Ryabova, the tax authorities’ efforts helped 487 taxpayers decrease their losses by 7.5bn RUR. The authorities’ inspections resulted in local businesses decreasing their losses by 2.3bn RUR, which was 2.6 times more than a year earlier.
