Sverdlovsk Region: residents’ income down by 5.7%

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July 29, 2015. The actual incomes of people living in Sverdlovsk Region declined by 5.7% in the first half of 2015 compared with the first half of 2014, head of the Federal State Statistics Service’s local division Elena Kutina announced at a press conference.

‘Their nominal monthly income actually went up by 9.2% compared with the first half of 2014 and amounted to 32,663 RUR per capita against 29,949 RUR a year earlier,’ she said.

Kutina said locals directed most of their income (81%) to buying goods and services. 7.1% more money was spent on these in the first half of the year compared with a year earlier.
