Defense Ministry thanks Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s head plant

January 28, 2015. Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s Director-General Oleg Sienko received a thank-you letter from Russian Defense Minister Yuri Borisov, who expressed his gratitude to Sienko and the entire Uralvagonzavod team for ‘meeting their defense contract 2014 obligations and providing munitions and military and special-purpose vehicles in full.’

According to the corporation’s press service, Yuri Borisov also thanked the company for organization and coordination of the United Military Produce Acceptance Day, which was thought of very highly by the Defense Ministry and government officials.

‘I am confident that we will go on with our fruitful and meaningful cooperation that aims to increase the Russian Federation’s defense potential,’ the letter says.

The United Military Produce Acceptance Day took place at Uralvagonzavod on December 19, 2014, when the corporation’s head plant’s Executive Director Vladimir Roshchupkin apprised the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Federation Armed Forces Vladimir Putin of the fact that the government defense order for 2014 had been fulfilled in full and that fulfillment of the government defense order for 2015 had begun.
