December 3, 2014. The Ural Bank for Reconstruction & Development landed a contract with MOTIV Group: the telecommunications provider will now use the bank’s acquiring services, so all of its subscribers can put money into their mobile phone account online at motivtelecom.ru using their Visa card (issued by any bank). All you need to do is fill in a special form on the company website, providing your phone number, the amount of money you’d like to put into your account, and your bank card details. The UBRD, the acquiring bank, does not charge any commission for the service, the bank’s press service reports.

The UBRD joined the international payment system Visa last year and can now carry out all the transactions without an intermediary bank’s help, which offers subscribers more security, protection of their confidential data such as bank card details and phone number, and unfailing service.

The UBRD Remote Service Development Director Ilya Skvortsov says acquiring services give companies an opportunity to sell their products and services non-stop. The customers, in their turn, are given one more way of making payments via the Internet even if they do not use e-banking services.
