Transaero cancels direct Yekaterinburg-London flight

9 October 2014 (10:02)

October 9, 2014. Transaero Airlines decided not to launch its direct Yekaterinburg-London flight after all, a protocol available on the Federal Air Transport Agency’s website states.

The agency, also known as Rosaviation, granted Transaero its permission to operate flights from Yekaterinburg to London in May 2014. The air carrier was allowed to use Tu 214 aircraft as well as the air planes by Boeing (737, 767, 777, and 747). The flight was supposed to have been operated three times a week. However, it still has not been launched to date.
