Omsktransmash website offers a virtual tour of the company military & labor hall of fame

July 31, 2014. Omsktransmash (a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Corporation) now offers a virtual tour of the company military and labor hall of fame on its website. Any visitor can now take a tour of the hall and have a look at the exhibits, Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s press service reports.

Omsktransmash set up a hall of fame in 1980. The area of the hall comes to over 400 sq m, including 350 sq m of exhibition area. Hundreds of people visit the actual hall every year. Tours are offered to both the company employees and high school and college students.

The hall of fame comprises some 2,000 exhibits, each of which is unique and has its own rich history. Anyone willing to do so can now get acquainted with the company’s history online by taking a look at models of various vehicles such as an engineer vehicle, the T-54, T-26, T-34, and other tanks as well as other machines, by reading about the plant’s former heads, designers, and employees with high-rank state awards, and by looking at the numerous photographs on the walls that chronicle the public and sports life of the company team.

Undoubtedly, one great advantage of this virtual hall of fame is that the tour is available to anyone willing to pay a visit, at any time, in any location in the world.
