Samara Region thanks Uralvagonzavod Corporation for help with Victory Day Parade

July 25, 2014. Samara Region authorities thanked Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation for help with the Victory Day Parade. A thank-you message was sent to the corporation’s Director-General Oleg Sienko by acting Governor of Samara Region Nikolai Merkushin, the corporation’s press service says.
The wire says that on behalf of the Great Patriotic War veterans and regular residents of Samara Region the Governor expresses his sincere appreciation and gratitude to Oleg Sienko and the entire Uralvagonzavod team for help with the organization and holding of the Victory Day Parade.
‘Thanks to your support, the 2nd Guard Combined Arms Army decorated with the Order of the Red Banner of Central Military District was able to use nine mid-range T-72BK tanks in the military parade in Samara on May 9, 2014,’ the wire says.
The message also states that ‘the corporation’s produce induced high patriotic spirits and the feeling of pride for our Armed Forces and Russia’s military-industrial complex on the whole in the visitors to the parade and in all of Samara Region’s residents’.
