Median pay increases 9.3% in Sverdlovsk Region

May 8, 2014. In January and February 2014, the median monthly pay came to 27,462.1 RUR in Sverdlovsk Region, which is 9.3% higher than in January and February 2013, Governor of Sverdlovsk Region's Information Policies Department reports.
The salaries of people employed with large and medium enterprises amounted to 30,471 RUR a month on average, which was 10.4% more than a year earlier.
The pay was higher than average in such economic sectors as vehicle manufacturing and machine-building, chemical industry, transportation and communication, production and distribution of electric power, natural gas, and water, and some others. The pay was lower than average in the consumer goods industry and fishery.
In Sverdlovsk Region, salaries rose the fastest in the state-run organizations: the increase came to 20.2% to 23.4% against January and February 2013.
