April 22, 2014. Ural Airlines added one more Airbus 319 to its fleet of vehicles on April 19, 2014, the air carrier's press service reports.
'This is the fourth air liner of this particular make the company has bought. The airline is now using 32 Airbus liners. The fourth Airbus A 319 arrived in Yekaterinburg from Turkey. Its capacity is 134 seats, including 126 economy class seats and 8 business class ones,' the company press service says.
The new airplane is expected to be used for both international and domestic hauls. Airbus 319 operated its first flight within the company from Yekaterinburg to Vladivostok. The air carrier is planning to expand its fleet of vehicles by four more A 320 aircraft in 2014.
Ural Airlines embarked on a fleet renovation program in 2006 and has been buying new planes every year since then. The European concern Airbus's liners proved highly efficient and convenient for mid-distance hauls.
