May 15, 2014. Ural Airlines' fleet of vehicles now comprises 19th mid-haul airliner Airbus A320 which arrived in Yekaterinburg from the Philippines, the airline's press service reports.

This means that the air carrier now operates 33 aircraft (19 A320 ones, 10 A321 ones, and 4 A319 ones). An aircraft can fit 160 people (there are 144 seats in the economy class section and 12 seats in the business class one). The new plane will be used for both international and domestic flights. The air carrier is planning to purchase 3 more Airbus A320 liners this year.

Ural Airlines launched its fleet renovation program as early as 2006 and buys additional planes every year. The liners made by the European concern Airbus proved very effective and convenient for mid-haul flights. Airbus A320/321 liners are the most spacious aircraft among mid-haul vessels and are also believed to be some of the best in terms of noise insulation and cabin lighting.
