April 22, 2014. A large group of Canadian delegates might visit the International Industrial Exhibition Innoprom 2014 in Yekaterinburg on July 9-12. This visit is still being negotiated at the moment, Formica Group, the event coordinator, told UrBC.
'We are currently negotiating a visit of a large group of delegates from Canada to Innoprom and the joint events that could be implemented during the Russian forum involving the Russian-German Chamber of Foreign Trade (AHK) and the US Trade Chamber in Russia (AmCham),' the company says.
According to Innoprom coordinator, 232 companies confirmed their coming to the exhibition this summer; this is 20% more than the number of applications in mid-April 2013.
On average, an exponent will be charged between 100,000 RUR and 500,000 RUR depending on the type of facilities they will use and build. These figures are virtually the same as last year, Formica Group notes.
The operator does not have any information as to how much the contracts signed at Innoprom are expected to amount to yet. According to Formica, some 30 companies turned down the invitation to join the event due to 'budget cuts'.
