Russian-Japanese JV Ural Wiring Systems to start producing in June 2014

January 24, 2014. The first produce of the Russian-Japanese joint venture Ural Wiring Systems that deals in production of automobile cord assembly for Renault and Nissan's Russian factories will roll off the production line in June 2014.
This information was reported by the JV's Director-General Toru Shinagawa to Sverdlovsk Region Minister for International and Foreign Economic Relations Andrei Sobolev during a recent meeting.
According to the Governor of Sverdlovsk Region's Information Policy Department, Sumitomo Wiring Systems and Radio Equipment Plant signed an agreement on setting up a new joint venture at the Innoprom 2013 exhibition.
Toru Shinagawa said that the enterprise's production sites were being reconstructed at the moment and people were being taken on. By the time the production line is launched, 700 to 800 people will be working there. In the future, the business might expand.
