January 10, 2013. Uralvagonzavod Corporation member enterprises launched a special New Year Campaign with festive events for employees and their children, Uralvagonzavod Corporation's press service reports.

A show for children and adults was coordinated at I.V. Okunev Palace of Culture at the corporation's head plant in Nizhniy Tagil: there were 26 children's shows called A Trip to Lapland and 10 game shows in the palace square as well as 10 shows for the older spectators and a number of office parties. There were some 70 different events altogether. The best teams of performers from the Palace of Culture staff prepared their acts. In addition, 15,632 children under 14 years of age were treated to sweet New Year gifts.

Uraltransmash, one of the corporation's Yekaterinburg-based member enterprises, traditionally celebrated New Year's Eve before the actual date because they fulfilled the government defense order ahead of schedule. The employees who contributed most to the fulfillment of the order were awarded honorary certificates in the course of a solemn ceremony.
