Natural gas pipeline is nearly complete at Titanium Valley

5 November 2013 (10:47)

November 5, 2013. A high-pressure natural gas pipeline is about to be completed at the Titanium Valley Special Economic Zone; the pipeline will supply natural gas to all the facilities in the zone and to the private houses of the locals, Sverdlovsk Region Press Service & Information Administration reports.

Now the total length of the pipeline from the entry point to the gas distribution station in Verkhnyaya Salda is 8,256m. Modern welding and testing equipment is being used to build the pipeline, which means the pipeline will be of good quality as well as very safe during operation. The assembly jobs are scheduled to be finished in late November 2013, the finishing-up and polishing jobs will be done by July 2014.

The valley’s Director-General Artemiy Kuzlasov says the construction of the fire-fighting water pipeline (3,275 meters in length) is also nearly complete. Kyzlasov also said that the zone, which is very close to Verkhnyaya Salda, is also undergoing ground leveling. Once this has been completed, the engineering infrastructure facilities (the electricity, gas, water, and heat supply systems) will be built there.
