10,000 pairs of fake Nike, Adidas, Reebok shoes confiscated in Kamensk-Uralsky

October 2, 2013. Kamensk Uralsk Customs officers confiscated a large batch of fake sports shoes imitating Nike, Adidas, Reebok, and Puma Solomon brands, Ural Customs Administration’s press service reports.
The police and the customs officers pulled over two freight trucks from Central Asia that contained sneakers with logos of famous brands. As the goods were not accompanied by proper documentation, and because of the way they looked, the cargo was confiscated.
An examination by independent experts from Russia’s Federal Customs Service Forensic Agency revealed that 9,627 pairs of shows were counterfeit products. The police officers from Kamensk Uralsky division of Internal Affairs Administration placed all the files with Sverdlovsk Region Arbitration Court.
