Ural Federal District makes fewer hotel sector investments than other areas

According to the statistical data available, Ural Federal District and Siberian Federal District invest the least amount of money into the hotel sector among other constituencies — about 1.5bn RUR, the findings of a research by INFOline called 180 Hotel Construction Projects in Russia in 2013-2016 state.
According to this research findings, the greatest amount of hotel sector investments is seen in Central, Southern, and North-Western Federal Districts. On average, a little under 6bn RUR gets invested in a single hotel in these federal districts.
All in all, the amount of investment in a building located in Russia went up by almost 8%. The number of projects related to the construction and reconstruction of hotels where the investments come to 3 to 10bn RUR is considerably on the increase. The number of projects with the amount of investment at under 3bn RUR dropped by nearly 10%, and the number of projects with the amount of investment at over 10bn RUR declined by 12%.
