The Council’s Deputy Director Vladislav Lutsenko will also hold negotiations with the representatives of Sverdlovsk Region business community, the press service of Sverdlovsk Region Government reports.

The agenda of the exhibition covers for a round table discussion on the development of the industrial infrastructure and the prospects of Russia-the Arab world cooperation. Talks will be given by the representatives of the Arab countries embassies and of their business communities. For example, there will be speakers from the UAE, Oman, Sudan, Iraq, Mauritania, Bahrain, Algeria, Egypt, and Palestine.

The upcoming meetings will be quite interesting for the Ural manufacturers, Sverdlovsk Region Minister for International & Foreign Economic Relations Alexander Kharlov feels.

‘Given the Arab world’s growing importance in trading with Russia, we can foresee a more active sort of relationship on the local level as well. Last year’s events prove this: for one, the Sverdlovsk Region/Algeria trade turnover exceeded $860m in 2012. The Urals-based enterprises’ delegates have visited Iran on a business mission for the second time this year,’ the Minister said.
